My Story
With over 24 years of progressive experience in the banking industry, Wendy has developed a deep command of financial operations, regulatory compliance, and branch administration. Her professional journey began as a teller and advanced steadily to the role of Assistant Vice President and Branch Coordinator, where she oversaw the operational integrity and oversight of six banking offices. In this capacity, she led initiatives in risk management, auditing, and process optimization, while cultivating high-performing teams and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Her ability to navigate complex financial systems and maintain operational accuracy positioned her as a trusted leader in both frontline and back-office functions. Wendy’s banking career was marked by her keen attention to detail, sound judgment in managing financial transactions, and proficiency in coordinating multi-branch workflows with precision and accountability.
Following her tenure in banking, Wendy transitioned to the education sector, where she spent 8 years collaborating with senior administrators across key departments, including Registration, Grants Management, Adult and Continuing Education, and Curriculum and Instruction. Her contributions in this setting reflect her adaptability and her continued commitment to organizational excellence.
Currently serving as an HR Recruitment Specialist with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Wendy leverages her organizational insight and interpersonal skillset to identify, attract, and retain top-tier talent. Her approach is grounded in integrity, professionalism, and a deep understanding of aligning individual strengths with mission-driven goals. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Wendy enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. She believes that a positive mindset is the foundation for personal and professional success.
